The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad was very exciting, but RCB made the chase attempt surprisingly comfortable.
RCB’s batting unit showed excellent intent and composure, especially during the middle overs where they bowled fast without losing pace. The 200+ run chase was handled with confidence, proving their strong top order and finishing ability.
SRH, on the other hand, put up a competitive score, but their bowling lacked consistency under pressure. They struggled to stop runs during crucial phases, which ultimately cost them the match.
Overall, this win gives RCB a strong start to their IPL 2026 campaign, boosting both morale and net run rate at the start of the tournament.
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match by 6 wickets.
Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 201/9, setting a target of 202 runs for RCB.
