Patel’s figures include three centuries, four half-centuries, 156 fours and 78 sixes. Apart from that, he is also a sharp keeper with 45 catches and 7 stumpings.

Career

Urvil Patel rose to fame after moving to Gujarat, where he made a name for himself as a reliable opener and strong middle-order batsman. He started his domestic career with Baroda in 2018, but after a short stint there, he decided to join the Gujarat team to further his career.

In November 2024, Patel grabbed attention by scoring a century off 28 balls in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The innings became the fastest T20 century by an Indian and the second fastest century in the world. So far, he has scored over 1,100 runs in 47 T20 matches and maintains an impressive strike rate of over 170.
