1. Azmatullah Omarzai (Afghanistan)

Following a stellar performance in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which included a five-wicket haul against England and a crucial half-century against Australia, Omarzai has climbed to the top of the ICC ODI all-rounder rankings, overtaking his teammate Mohammad Nabi in the process.

In 44 ODI matches, he has scored 1,169 runs at a batting average of 43.30 and a strike rate of 97.91, and has taken 44 wickets at a bowling average of 28.48. He won the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year award in 2024. He is 26 years old and is already one of the best all-rounders in the format. Afghanistan cricket needs no introduction now.

2. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh)

Bangladesh’s most important white-ball player in 2026. Mehidy has played 122 ODIs, taking 129 wickets at a bowling average of 36.47 and scoring 1,852 runs at a batting average of 24.05. His off-spin is the backbone of Bangladesh’s bowling attack and his lower-order batting has saved them in more difficult situations than his batting average.

A rating of 260 from 122 matches shows a player who has been contributing consistently across both disciplines for a long time.

3. Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan)

The veteran who was dethroned by Omarzai but could not break out of the top three. Mohammad Nabi has played 178 ODIs, scored 3,792 runs at a batting average of 27.48 and taken 177 wickets at a bowling average of 32.80. The veteran all-rounder has slipped from the top spot in the rankings but remains firmly in third place.

His economy rate of 4.33 is the lowest among the top ten bowlers and is reflective of a spinner who has been unable to score runs at the international level for over a decade.

4. Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe)

Zimbabwe’s captain and one of their greatest modern cricketers, he has played 153 ODIs, scoring 4,476 runs at a batting average of 36.99 and taking 94 wickets at a bowling average of 43.65. His bowling average is higher than most of the players on this list, but Raza has done enough to maintain his top four batting rankings.

His batting average of 36.99 is the third-highest of all ten players here. At 39, he is in the top four in both the ODI and T20I all-rounder rankings.

5. Michael Bracewell (New Zealand)

The most impressive statistics per match played on this list. In just 43 ODI matches, Bracewell has scored 956 runs at a batting average of 36.77 and a strike rate of 109.38, and has taken 38 wickets at a bowling average of 36.18.

He bats aggressively in the middle order and bowls off-spin which regularly takes wickets. A rating of 250 from 43 matches shows how quickly he has built his all-round record at this level.

6. Mitchell Santner (New Zealand)

New Zealand have two players in the top six and both are left-arm spinners. Mitchell Santner has played 124 ODIs, scoring 1,580 runs with a batting average of 26.78 and taking 133 wickets with a bowling average of 35.47.

His bowling is his primary asset at this level and 133 ODI wickets make him one of the more prolific left-arm spinners in the current era. His batting contributes usefully down the order rather than defining innings.

7. Brandon McMullan (Scotland)

The most surprising entry into the top ten. Scotland’s Brandon McMullan has played just 44 ODIs and is ranked seventh in the world all-rounder rankings.

He has scored 1,491 runs at a batting average of 43.85 and taken 62 wickets at a bowling average of 22.44. These are exceptional figures in both areas and his bowling average of 22.44 is the second best in the entire top ten.

8. Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)

In the ODI bowling rankings, leg-spinner Rashid Khan tops the charts with 682 rating points, confirming his status as the world’s top-ranked bowler. Despite batting at the bottom, his all-rounder rating is 220, with an average of just 18.67.

He is ranked eighth with 214 all-rounder wickets at a bowling average of 19.93. He has taken more ODI wickets than anyone else in the top ten and has achieved this feat with the lowest bowling average on the list. Rashid Khan is the best ODI bowler in the world who also bats. He is ranked eighth in the all-rounder chart.

9. Axar Patel (India)

India’s Axar Patel has made significant progress in the all-rounder category, jumping 17 places and registering a career-best rating. In 71 ODI matches, he has scored 858 runs at a batting average of 23.19 and taken 75 wickets at a bowling average of 32.81.

His left-arm spin at this level is the most economical in world cricket and his lower-order batting regularly provides India with crucial late runs. The trajectory of his ratings suggests that he is yet to reach his peak.

10. Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka)

Sri Lanka’s most important all-rounder in white-ball cricket. Hasaranga has played 71 ODIs, scoring 1,142 runs at a batting average of 23.31 and the highest batting strike rate in the top ten at 109.91, and has taken 113 wickets at a bowling average of 24.84.

His leg-spin is the sharpest in Sri Lanka’s attack and his batting in the middle order is much more aggressive than his average. With a rating of 205 in 71 matches, 113 wickets, this list shows that a player is still on his way to the top.
