1. Usman Khan (Multan Sultans) – 36 Balls

Usman Khan scored the fastest century in PSL history in 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators on 11 March 2023, breaking the record set by teammate Riley Rossouw in less than 24 hours and helping Multan Sultans set a record. Khan scored 120 runs in 43 balls with 12 fours and nine sixes at a strike rate of 279.1 before being dismissed by Gladiators captain Mohammad Nawaz.

After the innings, Khan said that he never dreamed of scoring a century in 36 balls in T20 cricket and it just happened in the flow of his natural game. No player has been able to equal this record since. No one in the history of PSL has come close to the 36-ball benchmark.

2. Rilee Rossouw (Multan Sultans) – 41 Balls

On 10 March 2023, against Peshawar Zalmi, Raleigh Rossouw needed 41 balls to complete his century. Rossouw broke his own record by scoring a century off 43 balls for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators in 2020.

He completed his half-century in just 17 balls, which is the joint-fastest half-century by any batsman in PSL history. Rossouw’s score of 121 runs while chasing the record is the third-highest individual score in PSL history. His record lasted less than a day, before it was snatched away by his own teammate.

3. James Vince (Karachi Kings) – 42 Balls

England’s T20 veteran James Vince unleashed a blistering attack on the Multan Sultans’ bowlers in PSL 2025 on 12 April 2025. Chasing a target of 235 against the Sultans, the Karachi Kings batsman completed his century in just 42 balls and hit 14 fours and four big sixes in a successful chase for his team at the National Stadium in Karachi.

4. Rilee Rossouw (Multan Sultans) – 43 Balls

Riley Rossouw’s 43-ball century against Quetta Gladiators on 29 February 2020 was the fastest in PSL history at the time and also the first century scored by a Multan Sultans batsman in PSL.

Batting at number five for Multan Sultans, his sixes helped his team reach 199 for 5 in 20 overs, when Multan was at 48 for 3 at one point. He won the Player of the Match award for his match-winning effort. He came to bat with an innings under pressure and left the opposition bowlers struggling to find a solution.

5. Jason Roy (Quetta Gladiators) – 44 Balls

Jason Roy’s unbeaten 145 against Peshawar Zalmi on 8 March 2023 is the highest individual score in the Pakistan Super League. His century came off 44 balls, part of a brilliant innings that set a new PSL record.

Roy scored an unbeaten 145 off 63 balls, helping Quetta Gladiators chase down 241 in Rawalpindi, the most successful run chase in PSL history at the time. The innings included 20 fours and five sixes. The total between the two teams that evening was 483 runs, which was the highest match total in T20 cricket in Asia at the time.

6. Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators) – 44 Balls

On 7 May 2025, Riley Rossouw and Hasan Nawaz became the first pair in PSL history to score centuries in the same innings against Islamabad United. Quetta Gladiators scored 263 for 3, which was the highest team total in PSL history at that time.

All three centuries scored by Rossouw in PSL have come in 44 balls or less. Rossouw completed his century in 44 balls that evening. Three centuries in PSL and each of them scored centuries at an extraordinary pace for different franchises in five seasons.

7. Usman Khan (Hyderabad Kingsmen) – 44 Balls

Usman Khan’s 44-ball century surpassed Steve Smith’s 47-ball century on 22 April 2026, as Hyderabad Kingsmen completed the second-biggest chase of the PSL 2026 season.

Both batsmen scored centuries in the same match in the match played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Usman also became the first batsman in PSL history to score four centuries. He hit 10 sixes in his innings, making him the joint-second-most centuries by any batsman in PSL history. Usman holds both the fastest and joint-fourth-fastest centuries in PSL history.

8. Hasan Nawaz (Quetta Gladiators) – 45 Balls

In the same innings against Islamabad United on 7 May 2025, Hasan Nawaz scored an unbeaten century with Rally Rossouw, helping Quetta Gladiators post the highest score in PSL history. Nawaz hit nine sixes during his innings, the most by any Gladiators batsman in a PSL innings.

In that match, Rossouw and Nawaz added 134 runs in just 61 balls, helping the Gladiators reach 263 for 3. Nawaz completed his century in 45 balls. Never before in PSL history had two centuries been scored in a single innings before that evening. It has not been repeated since.

9. Steve Smith (Multan Sultans) – 47 Balls

Steve Smith scored his second T20 century of the year and the first century of his PSL career on 22 April 2026. His 47-ball century was studded with six sixes, with his attack on Hunain Shah being the highlight, against whom he hit six fours and 28 runs in an over.

The Australian batsman scored 106 runs in 50 balls, hitting 12 fours and six sixes. Smith and Sahibzada Farhan added 132 runs for the opening wicket to give Multan Sultans a strong start. Smith’s century was eventually broken by Usman Khan’s 44-ball response, but it remains one of the fastest centuries scored by an Australian batsman in PSL history.

10. Kusal Mendis (Peshawar Zalmi) – 48 Balls

Kusal Mendis scored the fastest century in PSL history by a Peshawar Zalmi batsman against Karachi Kings on 9 April 2026 and shared a record partnership of 196 runs with Babar Azam, the highest partnership ever in PSL.

He completed his century in 48 balls. Mendis became the first Sri Lankan to score a century in PSL. Peshawar Zalmi recorded their highest ever score while Karachi Kings recorded their lowest score in PSL history on the same evening. Zalmi won by 159 runs, the biggest win in PSL history.
